How Do You Perform Backups?

Backups are performed for the databases of the various services within GMO TrustLogin.
Note: The system itself can be rebuilt within a few minutes, so no backup is performed for the system itself.

Backups consist of an automatic snapshot taken once a day and continuous DB snapshots. When restoring, you can specify the time of the snapshot to restore from.
Backup data is retained for 35 days. It is stored redundantly across multiple data centers as a safeguard against device failures.
Recovery from backup is performed from a snapshot, allowing restoration to a point a few minutes before the failure occurred.

Notes:
- Changes made after the last snapshot cannot be restored during recovery.
- During recovery, a maintenance mode screen is displayed and the service becomes unavailable.
- The Recovery Point Objective (RPO) target is 30 minutes prior to the failure.
- The Recovery Time Objective (RTO) target is within 30 minutes of the failure.
