How to Configure SAML Authentication for moconavi

Note: Prior application and setup with moconavi are required.

Note: For the latest setup instructions, please refer to the manual provided by moconavi.

Preparation

You need to set up a custom attribute on the TrustLogin member information in order to link it to the moconavi user ID.
Note: This is not necessary if the moconavi user ID is set to the same email address as TrustLogin.

TrustLogin Admin Page Settings

  1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, and click the "Register App" button at the top right of the screen.

  2. Search on the "Register Corporate App" screen and select "moconavi (SAML)".

  3. Download the metadata from "Download Metadata" under "Identity Provider Information".

Now, let's move on to the settings on the moconavi side. Please open the moconavi administrator screen in a separate window.

moconavi Settings

  1. Log in to the moconavi administrator screen, open "Settings > Authentication Settings", and download the "Service Provider (SP) Metadata".

  2. Open "Authentication Detail Settings".

  3. For "IdP Metadata", select the metadata you downloaded in step 3 of "TrustLogin Admin Page Settings" above, and update it.

Now, let's go back to the TrustLogin Admin Page.

  1. Set the value to use for the Name ID.

    If the moconavi user ID is the same as the TrustLogin email address, select "Member > email"

    If you added a custom attribute to the TrustLogin member information and configured it to link to the moconavi user ID, select "Custom Attribute > (the attribute name you set)"

  2. In "Select Metadata" under Service Provider Settings, select the metadata you downloaded from moconavi.

  3. Click the "Register" button at the top right to complete the setup.

TrustLogin User Settings

① When a user adds the app from My Page

  1. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page".
  2. On the "Register App" screen, select "moconavi (SAML)" and click the "Next" button at the top right of the screen.
  3. If you want to change the "Display Name", enter a new one, then click the "Register" button.
  4. Click the app on "My Page" or in the browser extension, and confirm that login succeeds.

② When an administrator adds a member

  1. In the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, search for and click the "moconavi (SAML)" app.
  2. Click "Add Member", select the user to add from the member list, and click the "Register" button to add them.

How to Log In to moconavi

  1. Open moconavi on your device, enter your company ID and user ID, and click "LOGIN".

  2. You will be redirected to the TrustLogin login screen, so log in there.

  3. (First time only) Select "Yes" on the pop-up for sending the device identification number.

  4. The moconavi main screen will be displayed and login is complete.

Now, let's move on to the settings on the moconavi side. Please open the moconavi administrator screen in a separate window.

  2. Open "Authentication Detail Settings".
