How to Configure SAML Authentication for Zoom

Note: SAML authentication is available on the web browser, desktop app, and mobile app.
Note: You must apply in advance with Zoom and request the SAML configuration.
Note: You must have already created an account in Zoom using the same email address as your TrustLogin (formerly SKUID) account.

TrustLogin Admin Page Settings

  1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > App" menu, and click the "Register App" button at the top right of the screen.

  2. On the "Register Corporate App" screen, search for and select "Zoom (SAML)".

  3. Note the "Identity Provider URL" and "Issuer/Entity ID" under "Identity Provider Information", and download the certificate from "Get Certificate".

  4. Enter Zoom's vanity URL domain name in the three fields of "Service Provider Settings".

  5. Click the "Register" button to save the configuration.

Zoom Configuration

  1. Using your Zoom owner or administrator account, log in to SSO Settings.
  2. Enter the information noted in step 3 of "TrustLogin Admin Page Settings" above as follows.

    Sign-in page URL Identity Provider URL
    Sign-out page URL Leave blank
    Identify the Provider's Certificate Open the certificate downloaded from TrustLogin, and
    copy and paste only the lines excluding the leading "-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----" and trailing "-----END CERTIFICATE-----".

    ④Service Provider (SP) Entity ID Vanity URL (excluding "https://")
    Example: xxxxxxx.zoom.us
    Issuer (IDP Entity ID) Issuer/Entity ID

    ⑥Binding

    Select HTTP-POST

  3. Save the configuration.

TrustLogin User Settings

① When a User Adds the App via My Page

  1. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page".
  2. On the "Register App" screen, select "Zoom (SAML)" and click the "Next" button at the top right of the screen.
  3. If you want to change the "Display Name", enter it, then click the "Register" button.
  4. Click the app on "My Page" or in the "browser extension" and check that login succeeds.

② When an Administrator Adds Members

  1. Search for and click the "Zoom (SAML)" app in the "Admin Page > App" menu.
  2. Click "Add Member", select the user to add from the member list, and click the "Register" button to add them.

How to Log In to Zoom

① Logging In from the Vanity URL

  • Click the app on "My Page" or in the "browser extension"; once login succeeds, the vanity URL screen below will be displayed, and clicking "Sign In" will log you in.
  • If you open the vanity URL directly while not logged in to TrustLogin, the TrustLogin login screen will open after clicking "Sign In"; once you log in, you will be logged in to Zoom.

② Logging In from the Zoom Top Page

  1. Open the Zoom top page and click "Sign In".

  2. Select "Sign In with SSO".

  3. Enter the vanity URL domain name.

  4. The TrustLogin login screen will open; once you log in, you will be logged in to Zoom.

③ Using the Zoom App (Desktop/Mobile)

  1. Open the Zoom app and click "Sign In".

  2. Click "SSO" and enter the vanity URL domain name.

  3. The TrustLogin login screen will open; once you log in, you will be redirected to Zoom.
