If a member enters an incorrect password a certain number of times and their account becomes locked, the member can unlock their own account, but an administrator can also do this on their behalf.

Users whose accounts are locked cannot log in.
This is because account locking is a measure against brute-force attacks.
Note: A user whose account is locked cannot log in using any authentication method, not just password authentication.
If an account is locked, the member can unlock it themselves, but an administrator can also do this on their behalf.

How Administrators Can Unlock a Locked Account

On the Admin Page, click "Members > (the relevant member)", then open the "Unlock URL".
(Clicking the icon to the right of the URL copies the URL)

Opening the URL will unlock the account.

Once the account is unlocked, a "Account Unlock Notification" email is sent to the user.
A BCC copy is also sent to the administrator's email address.
