To add a Member to a corporate account, the administrator must register the Member, and the registered Member must then set up a password. This article explains how an administrator registers a Member.
Note: For the steps a Member takes to start using the service, please see this article.
You can register Members either individually or in bulk.
Registering a Member Individually
-
Log in to TrustLogin with an administrator account, open the "Admin Page > Members" menu, and click the "Register Member" button in the upper right of the screen.
- Select "Add Individually."
- Enter the Member's information and click "Next."
Note: "Name," "Email Address," and "Permission" settings are required fields.
Note: On the Pro plan, you can optionally register a "Login ID" (up to 320 half-width alphanumeric characters and symbols).
For details on each administrator permission item, please see this article.
- If the registered information is correct, click "Register" to finish.
Note: If "Automatically assign password authentication when registering a Member" is enabled under "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features > Password Authentication," a "Password Registration Request" email will be sent to the registered Member.
Registering Members in Bulk
-
Log in to TrustLogin with an administrator account, open the "Admin Page > Members" menu, and click the "Register Member" button in the upper right of the screen.
- Select "Add in Bulk."
- Download the template file from "Download CSV Template."
Rows 2 through 5 of the file contain sample data; delete this data and enter your own data in the same way.
Input rules:
- "email" (email address), "first_name" (first name), and "last_name" (last name) are required fields; all other fields are optional.
- If you want to register a Member's password in advance, you must set "password," and "secret_question" (4 or more characters) and "secret_answer" (4 or more characters) become required.
- If a value is entered in any one of "password," "secret_question," or "secret_answer," the other two fields also become required.
Note: You can register up to 10,000 IDs at once via CSV. If you need to register more, please split the registration into multiple batches.
Note: The bulk registration feature for a Member's "password," "secret_question," and "secret_answer" was previously limited to the PRO plan. (As of March 8, 2021) It is now also available on the Free plan, so please feel free to try it.
- Upload the edited CSV file.
- Clicking "Next" starts the bulk addition process, and the administrator is notified by email when it is complete.
(Email subject: "Notice of Bulk Member Addition Completion")
If registration fails, you can check the errors via the link in the email.

Note: With the release of the Login ID feature (July 2025), the error handling behavior during
CSV upload has been changed as follows:
Previously: If even one row contained an error, registration of the entire file would fail.
Now: Only the row with the error fails to register, while the other rows are registered.
- When adding Members in bulk, all Members are registered with "General" permission. To change a Member's permission to Administrator, go to Member List > Edit the relevant Member to change the setting.
Note: If "Automatically assign password authentication when registering a Member" is enabled under "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features > Password Authentication," a "Password Registration Request" email will be sent to the registered Member. (Note: This email is not sent to users whose password, secret question, and secret question answer have already been registered.)
If You Do Not Want to Automatically Send the "Password Registration Notice" Email When Registering a Member
- If you want to configure apps or options after registering a Member and then manually send the "Password Registration Request" later, disable "Automatically assign password authentication when registering a Member" under Settings > Optional Features > Password Authentication.
- Once you have finished registering the Member and configuring apps/options, assign password authentication using "Add Member" or "Add Group" under "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features > Password Authentication."
- The "Password Registration Request" email is sent.
If You Want to Resend the "Password Registration Request" Email to a Member Who Has Not Registered a Password
- Under "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features > Password Authentication," click the number next to "Password Not Registered."
- Members with the status "Password Not Registered" will be listed below. Check the box next to the target Member(s) and click "Resend Password Registration Email."
- The "Password Registration Request" email is sent.
