Note: Advance application and configuration are required on the TeamSpirit side.
Note: You must create an account in TeamSpirit using the same email address as your TrustLogin account.
Note: For the latest configuration steps, please refer to the manual provided by TeamSpirit.
TrustLogin Admin Page Configuration
- Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, and click the "Register App" button at the top right of the screen.
- Search on the "Register Corporate App" screen and select "TeamSpirit (SAML)".
- Download the metadata from "Download Metadata" under "Identity Provider Information".
Now let's move on to the configuration on the TeamSpirit side. Please open TeamSpirit in a separate window.
TeamSpirit Configuration
- Log in with an administrator account and open "Settings > ID > Single Sign-On Settings".
- Click the "Edit" button in Single Sign-On Settings and check "Enable SAML".
- Click the "Create New from Metadata File" button, then use the "Choose File" button to select and upload the metadata you downloaded in step 3 of "TrustLogin Admin Page Configuration" above.
- Change "Service Provider Initiated Request Binding" to "HTTP POST", uncheck the option to enable single logout, and click the "Save" button.
Note: TrustLogin does not support SAML single logout (as of May 2022)
- Click "Download Metadata" to download it.
- Open "Company Settings > My Domain" from the menu, scroll down to "Authentication Settings", and click the "Edit" button.
- Check "portal" under "Authentication Service" and click "Save".
This will cause a "portal" button to appear on the Salesforce login screen; clicking it will take you to the TrustLogin authentication screen.
Note: Depending on the domain, the SSO button may not appear and may not be usable alongside the login form, so please be aware of this.Note: The "portal" label can be changed under "ID > Single Sign-On Settings > Single Sign-On Configuration".
Note: If you want to use SSO-only authentication, uncheck "Login Form" after the connection has been verified and the switch has been completed.
Let's go back to the TrustLogin Admin Page again.
TrustLogin Admin Page Configuration (Continued)
- Under "Service Provider Settings", click "Choose Metadata" and upload the metadata you downloaded from Salesforce.
- Click the "Register" button.
TrustLogin User Settings
① When a user adds the app from My Page
- Click the "Add App" button on "My Page".
- On the "Register App" screen, select "TeamSpirit (SAML)" and click the "Next" button at the top right of the screen.
- If you want to change the "Display Name", enter it, then click the "Register" button.
- Click the app on "My Page" or in the browser extension and check that login succeeds.
② When an administrator adds a member
- On the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, search for and click the "TeamSpirit (SAML)" app.
- Click "Add Member", select the user to add from the member list, and click the "Register" button to add them.
