This article explains how to use single sign-on (SSO) with TrustLogin.
This covers the registration method for form-based (proxy) authentication.

Note: This assumes operations performed by a user with administrator privileges.

Setup Steps

1. Registering an App on My Page

Once an app is registered using this procedure, you can perform single sign-on to it from My Page.
Note: It is also possible to restrict users from registering apps directly on My Page (allowing only apps approved by the administrator to be used). For details, click here

1. Log in to TrustLogin and click the "+" button on My Page.
   
   For the old UI:

2. Search for and select the app you want to register.
   
   
   
   

3. Enter the ID and password information and click "Save."
   "Display Name" and "App Description" are optional fields. Entering a "Display Name" lets you change the name shown below the icon on My Page.
   
   
   
   

4. The app is added to My Page.

Single sign-on is now ready to use!
In the next step, let's click the app and actually try out single sign-on.

2. Performing Single Sign-On

On My Page, clicking the app icon you registered in the previous step performs single sign-on to the service.

2. You will be taken to the login screen of the registered service.
   The ID and password information is entered automatically, completing the login!
   
   

Troubleshooting

Q1. Clicking the app icon on My Page prompts me to install an extension.

A. To automatically fill in the ID and password, the TrustLogin browser extension must be installed.
Please install it in your browser and then try single sign-on.

Note: Normally, the extension is installed as part of the tutorial during your first login.

Note: Please install and use the latest version of the extension.

Q2. The ID and password are not automatically filled in.

A. Have you registered an ID and password for the target app?
From My Page, click the "Settings" button for the target app to check the registered information.

Q3. A different ID and password than what I set in TrustLogin are being entered.

A. Is your browser's password autofill feature or another password management tool enabled?

If you are using such a feature or tool together with TrustLogin, single sign-on via TrustLogin may not work correctly.

Please try disabling your browser's password autofill feature or the other password management tool and see if the issue is resolved.
