Initial Setup Steps for Identity Provisioning with Auth0

This page describes the initial setup steps for using TrustLogin as the source of identity
to perform Identity Provisioning to Auth0.

Setup Steps

Auth0 Settings

  1. Log in to Auth0 with administrator privileges, and click "Authentication > Enterprise".

  2. Click "SAML" within "Custom Connections".

  3. Click the SAML configuration name you created (e.g., SAML) within "Connection Name".[Auth0]_ID_03.png
  4. Click the "Provisioning" tab.[Auth0]_ID_04.png

  5. Click the "Setup" tab within "Sync user profiles using SCIM".[Auth0]_ID_05.png

  6. Copy the "SCIM Endpoint URL" to the clipboard.[Auth0]_ID_06.png

  7. Click "Generate New Token".
    Note: If two tokens already exist, this will be disabled. If that is the case, please delete another token.[Auth0]_ID_07.png

  8. Click "Generate Token".

  9. Copy the displayed Bearer Token.
    Note: The Bearer Token cannot be viewed again after clicking "Save". Please make sure you have copied it before proceeding.

    This completes the preparation on the Auth0 side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "Auth0", then click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Auth0" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save".

    SCIM Endpoint URL The URL of the "SCIM Endpoint" you copied in step 6 of Auth0 Settings
    Access Token The value of the "Bearer Token" you copied in step 9 of Auth0 Settings

  6. Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.
