This page describes the initial setup steps for using TrustLogin as the source of identity
to perform Identity Provisioning to M-Files.

Setup Steps
M-Files Settings

Log in to M-Files with administrator privileges and click Configurations.

Click "Create configuration > Other SCIM provider".

Enter any name in "Configuration name", select "Named" for "Default license type", and click "Save".
- Copy the displayed "Tenant URL", "Client ID", and "Client secret" values to your clipboard.
Note: The tokens cannot be viewed again after "Save". Please make sure you have copied them before proceeding.
This completes the preparation on the M-Files side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.
TrustLogin Settings
Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".
- Click "Add Service".
- On the Add Service screen, search for and select "M-Files", then click the "Add" button.
- You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > M-Files" page.
Click the "Edit" button.

Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save".
API URL The value of the "Tenant URL" you copied in step 4 of M-Files Settings Client ID The value of the "Client ID" you copied in step 4 of M-Files Settings Client Secret The value of the "Client secret" you copied in step 4 of M-Files Settings
- Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.
Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.
