Initial Setup Steps for Identity Provisioning with Databricks

This page describes the initial setup steps for using TrustLogin as the source of identity
to perform Identity Provisioning to Databricks.

 please proceed to configuring user synchronization.

Setup Steps

Databricks Settings

  1. Log in to Databricks with administrator privileges, and click "Security".

  2. Click the "User Provisioning" tab.

  3. Click "Regenerate token".

  4. In the dialog that appears, click "Regenerate token".

     

  5. Copy the displayed "SCIM Token" and "Account SCIM URL".
    Note: The token cannot be viewed again after clicking "Done". Please make sure you have copied it before proceeding.

    This completes the preparation on the Databricks side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.
     

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "Databricks", then click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Databricks" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save".

    Connection URL Databricks Settings The value of "Account SCIM URL" you copied in step 4
    Access Token Databricks Settings The value of "SCIM Token" you copied in step 4

  6. Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.
