Initial Setup Steps for Identity Provisioning with Ping Identity

This page describes the initial setup steps for using TrustLogin as the source of identity
to perform Identity Provisioning to Ping Identity.

Setup Steps

Ping Identity Settings

  1. Log in to Ping Identity with administrator privileges, click the "Applications" dropdown, and click "Applications".

  2. Click "Token Gen".

  3. Copy the "Environment ID", "Client ID", and "Client Secret" to your clipboard, respectively.
    Note: These cannot be viewed again after you click "Save". Please make sure you have copied them before proceeding.

    This completes the preparation on the Ping Identity side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "Ping Identity", then click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Ping Identity" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save".

    Top-Level Domain The top-level domain of Ping Identity you are connecting to (e.g., if the Ping Identity URL is "https://console.pingone.sg", the top-level domain is "sg")
    Note: Please specify the environment (top-level domain) of PingIdentity that you are using.
    Environment ID The value of "Environment ID" you copied in step 3 of Ping Identity Settings
    Client ID The value of "Client ID" you copied in step 3 of Ping Identity Settings
    Client Secret The value of "Client Secret" you copied in step 3 of Ping Identity Settings

  6. Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.
