This page describes the initial setup steps for using TrustLogin as the source of identity
to perform Identity Provisioning to HPE GreenLake.

HPE GreenLake SAML JIT Setup Guide

  • You can link the Identity Provisioning configuration created in this procedure with an existing SAML app.
    For details on SAML app configuration, please checkhere.
  • To prevent conflicts in user attribute updates caused by using the Identity Provisioning feature together with SAML JIT,
    we recommend not configuring "SAML Attribute Settings" for duplicate user attributes when creating the SAML app.
    Note: Behavior depends on the service specifications, so please check with each SP for details.

Setup Steps

HPE GreenLake Settings

  1. Log in to HPE GreenLake with administrator privileges.
  2. Launch the target workspace.

  3. Click "Manage Workspaces".

  4. Click "Domain".

  5. Click "External SCIM Integration" (e.g., scim_test) for the domain you want to synchronize users with.

  6. Copy the value of the "SCIM API Endpoint".

  7. Select the "…" icon > "Replace Credentials".

  8. Click "Replace Credentials" in the confirmation pop-up.

  9. Copy the value of the newly generated "SCIM Access Token".

    This completes the preliminary preparation on the HPE GreenLake side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "HPE GreenLake", and click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > HPE GreenLake" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the setting items, and click "Save".

    Connection URL

    		 HPE GreenLake Settings Step 6: the value of the "SCIM API Endpoint" you copied

    SCIM Token

    		 HPE GreenLake Settings Step 8: the token value you copied

  6. Click the "Connect" button at the top right of the screen.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.

Values You Can Configure in Attribute Mapping

You can map any attribute on the TrustLogin side to any attribute on the HPE GreenLake side.
