Initial Setup Steps for Identity Provisioning with Workteam

This page describes the initial setup steps for using TrustLogin as the source of identity
to perform Identity Provisioning to Workteam.

Note: For detailed instructions on operating Workteam, please refer to the documentation provided by Workteam.

Setup Steps

Workteam Settings

  1.  Log in to Workteam with administrator privileges.
     

  2. Select "Organization settings" from the left menu.


     

  3. Select the "INTEGRATIONS" tab at the top of the screen.


     

  4. Click the "MANAGE" button next to "SCIM User Provisioning".

     

  5. You will be taken to the "SCIM User Provisioning Configuration" screen.
    If SCIM is not enabled, click the "Enabled" button to turn it on.

     

  6. The "SCIM Configuration" fields will be displayed.
    Copy the "BASE URL" string.

  7. Click the "Generate Bearer Token" button, then copy the API token displayed in "BEARER TOKEN".

    This completes the preparation on the Workteam side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.
     

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "Workteam", then click the "Add" button.
     
     
  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Workteam" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.
     
     

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save".

    Connection URL Workteam Settings The value of the "BASE URL" copied in step 6
    Access Token Workteam Settings The value of the "BEARER TOKEN" copied in step 7


     

  6. Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.
    Note: When a new token is generated in Workteam, we have confirmed that it can take 2 minutes or more for the service synchronization to succeed (i.e., for the button on this screen to change to "Connected").

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.

Values You Can Configure in Attribute Mapping

You can map any attribute on the TrustLogin side to any attribute on the Workteam side.

Setup Steps

Workteam Settings

  1.  Log in to Workteam with administrator privileges.
     

  2. Select "Organization settings" from the left menu.

  4. Click the "MANAGE" button next to "SCIM User Provisioning".

     

  5. You will be taken to the "SCIM User Provisioning Configuration" screen.
    If SCIM is not enabled, click the "Enabled" button to turn it on.

     

  6. The "SCIM Configuration" fields will be displayed.
    Copy the "BASE URL" string.

  7. Click the "Generate Bearer Token" button, then copy the API token displayed in "BEARER TOKEN".

    This completes the preparation on the Workteam side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.
     

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "Workteam", then click the "Add" button.
     
     
  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Workteam" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.
     
     

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save".

  6. Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.
