Initial Setup Steps for Identity Provisioning with Splashtop

This page describes the initial setup steps for using TrustLogin as the source of identity
to perform Identity Provisioning to Splashtop.

How to Configure SAML Authentication for Splashtop

  • You can link the Identity Provisioning configuration created in this procedure to an existing SAML app.
    For details on the SAML app configuration, please seehere.

Setup Steps

Splashtop Settings

  1. Log in to Splashtop with administrator privileges.
  2. Click the "user icon" in the upper right of the Splashtop admin screen.

  3. Click "Account Settings" from the menu that appears.


  4. Click "Team" from the menu on the left side of the screen.

  5. Scroll down the screen and click "API Token Settings" under "SCIM Provisioning".

  6. Click the "Generate" button in the pop-up that appears.

  7. A "SCIM Provisioning Token" will be issued. Click the "copy icon" on the right side to copy the token to a text editor or similar, then click "Close".

  8. Copy the "SSO Name" under "Single Sign-On" (the SAML configuration you set up in advance; the screenshot shows it as "saml test").

    This completes the preparation on the Splashtop side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "Splashtop", then click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Splashtop" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save".

    Access Token Splashtop Settings The value of "SCIM Provisioning Token" copied in step 7
    SSO Name Splashtop Settings The value of "SSO Name" copied in step 8



  6. Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.

  7. The following image will be displayed. Click "Yes".


  8. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.
