[App Inventory] Feature Overview

This page describes the App Inventory, one of the main features of the SaaS Management functionality.

Note: This feature requires a contract for the SSO Free + SaaS Management plan or the SSO Pro + SaaS Management plan.

What Is the App Inventory Feature?

This feature lets you centrally visualize and manage contract information, costs, and usage status for the SaaS applications you use.

Key Features of the App Inventory

  • Centralized management of app and contract information:
    Manage both SSO apps and SaaS apps* together.
  • Flexible filtering and customization:
    Reorder displayed fields or use the filter function to extract and check only the information you need.
  • Bulk CSV management:
    You can bulk-update or add inventory information. Supports generating, editing, and uploading CSV files.
*SSO app: Combines the conventional single sign-on functionality with the ability to configure inventory information.
 SaaS app: Allows you to configure inventory information.

Screen Layout

If you are on an eligible plan, the following screen appears on the Admin Page > Apps page.

The operations available from each button are as follows.

② Filter

Click the "Other" menu to expand it.
Using the filter, you can display only the information that matches your specified conditions in the list. For steps, see here

③ App Information Fields

Registered information is displayed row by row as inventory information.

You can customize whether field information is shown or hidden, as well as its display order. For steps, see here

Basic Operations of the App Inventory Feature

1. Register a SaaS App

These are the steps for registering a SaaS app to manage its inventory information.
You can register it manually or via bulk registration/update via CSV.
Note: You cannot later add SSO functionality to an app that has been registered as a SaaS app.

1-1. Register a SaaS App Manually

  1. Click the "SaaS App" button.

  2. Enter values for each field on the "SaaS Management Registration" screen. (App Name is required.)
    Note: For descriptions and input requirements for each field, see here. If the input requirements are not met, an error will be displayed and you will not be able to save.

  3. Click "Save."

1-2. Register or Update SaaS Apps in Bulk

You can register or update apps in bulk using a CSV file. For detailed steps, see here.

2. Customize for Ease of Use

You can customize the screen to match your operations and make it easier to use, or edit an app's inventory information.

2-1. Customize Displayed Fields

  1. Click the "Displayed Fields" button.

  2. Check the fields you want to display, or uncheck the fields you want to hide, and the changes will be reflected in the list.
    Note: App Name cannot be hidden.

  3. To change the display order, drag the "..." icon for the field you want to reorder and move it to the desired position.

2-2. Apply a Filter

  1. Click "Other" to expand the filter menu.

  2. Specify conditions to apply the filter.

    To reset an applied filter, click "Show All."

2-3. Manually Edit an App's Inventory Information

Note: You can edit registered SSO apps and SaaS apps.

  1. From the app list, click the "Update Inventory Information" icon for the app you want to edit.

  2. Edit the content on the "SaaS Management Edit" screen.

FAQ

  • What happens to the screen display if I change to a plan other than the SaaS Management plan (SSO Free/SSO Pro plan)?

    → The inventory feature will no longer be available, and the screen will revert to the standard app list view.
