Initial Setup Steps for Identity Provisioning with Celonis

This page describes the initial setup steps for using TrustLogin as the source of identity
to perform Identity Provisioning to Celonis.

How to Configure SAML Authentication for Celonis

  • The Identity Provisioning configuration created in this procedure can be linked to an existing SAML app.
    For details on the SAML app configuration, please see here.

Setup Steps

Celonis Settings

  1. Log in to Celonis with administrator privileges and click the target team (e.g., Academic Alliance, etc.).

  2. Click the profile area from the left menu, then click "Edit Profile".

  3. Enter any name of your choosing in the "New API Key Name" field, then click "Create API Key".

  4. Copy the following values that are displayed on the screen.

    ・API Key
    ・The FQDN in the address bar (the academic-celonis-●●●●.eu-2.celonis.cloud portion)

    Note: The API Key cannot be displayed again once you close this screen, so be sure not to miss copying it.




    This completes the preparation on the Celonis side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "Celonis", then click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Celonis" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save".

    Connection URL Celonis Settings The URL, including the FQDN, copied in step 4
    Access Token Celonis Settings The value of the API Key copied in step 4



    Note: Please enter the URL in the following format.
     https://academic-celonis-●●●●.eu-2.celonis.cloud/scim/v2

  6. Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.
