Initial Setup Steps for Identity Provisioning with Businessmap

This page describes the initial setup steps for using TrustLogin as the source of identity
to perform Identity Provisioning to Businessmap.

Notes
  • Because email addresses cannot be changed on the Businessmap side, updates via synchronization are not possible.
  • If a user is created on the Businessmap side but has not yet logged in, and
    a sync is then run from TrustLogin, the Businessmap-side user becomes inactive
    and we have confirmed that it cannot be reactivated.

Setup Steps

Businessmap Settings

  1. After logging in to Businessmap with administrator privileges, click the settings icon in the top navigation bar
    and select "Applications".

  2. Hover over the "SAML v2.0" option and click "Configure".


  3. Turn on the "Enable user provisioning" toggle in the "User provisioning" menu.
    Note: If necessary, check "Automatically create a Businessmap user for the unregistered emails upon login.".

  4. Click the "Regenerate" icon next to the "SCIM Bearer token" field.

  5. Click the "Generate" button on the confirmation screen.

  6. Copy the generated "SCIM Bearer token" and "SCIM base URL" values, then click "Save settings" to save.


    This completes the preparation on the Businessmap side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "Businessmap", then click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Businessmap" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save".

    SCIM Token Businessmap Settings The value of the "SCIM Bearer token" you copied in step 6


  6. Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.
