to perform Identity Provisioning to Cisco Meraki.

How to Configure SAML JIT for Cisco Meraki

  • The Identity Provisioning configuration created in this procedure can be linked to an existing SAML app.
    For details on SAML app configuration, please seehere.
  • To prevent conflicts in user attribute updates caused by using both the Identity Provisioning feature and SAML JIT together,
    we recommend not configuring the "SAML Attribute Settings" for duplicate user attributes when creating a SAML app.
    Note: Behavior depends on the service specifications, so please check with each SP for details.

Setup Steps

Cisco Meraki Settings

  1. Log in to Meraki with administrator privileges.

  2. Click "Organization" > "API&Webbooks".

  3. Click "Generate API Key".
  4. Copy the displayed "API Key".
    After copying, check "I've stored my API key" and click "Done".
    Note: The token cannot be viewed again. Please make sure you have copied it correctly.

  5. Note down the "Organization ID" at the bottom of the page.

    This completes the preparation on the Cisco Meraki side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "Meraki", then click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Meraki" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save".

    Organization ID The value of "Organization ID" you copied in Cisco Meraki Settings step 5
    Access Token The value of "API Key" you copied in Cisco Meraki Settings step 4

  6. Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.

  2. Click "Add Service".
