This page describes the initial setup steps for using TrustLogin as the source of identity
to perform Identity Provisioning to Hubble.

How to Configure SAML Authentication for Hubble

Note: The Identity Provisioning configuration created in this procedure can be linked to an existing SAML app.
For details on the SAML app configuration, see here.

Setup Steps

Hubble Settings

  1. Log in to Hubble with administrator privileges, click the icon in the upper right of the home screen, then click "Admin Screen".

     
  2. Click "Contract Information / Options" > "Optional Services" in the menu tab on the left side of the screen.
     
     
  3. Click "View Details" next to the Provisioning item.
     
  4. Click "Check SCIM Provisioning Settings".

  5. Copy and save the API token that is displayed.
    Note: You will not be able to view the API token again after clicking "Save". Please make sure you have copied it without omission.


    This completes the preparation on the Hubble side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.
     

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "Hubble", then click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Hubble" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following value for the settings item, and click "Save".
     

    Access Token The value of the API token you copied in step 5 of Hubble Settings

  6. Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.

Values You Can Configure in Attribute Mapping

You can map any attribute on the TrustLogin side to any attribute on the Hubble side.

Setup Steps

Hubble Settings

  1. Log in to Hubble with administrator privileges, click the icon in the upper right of the home screen, then click "Admin Screen".

     
  2. Click "Contract Information / Options" > "Optional Services" in the menu tab on the left side of the screen.
     
     
  3. Click "View Details" next to the Provisioning item.
     
  4. Click "Check SCIM Provisioning Settings".

  5. Copy and save the API token that is displayed.
    Note: You will not be able to view the API token again after clicking "Save". Please make sure you have copied it without omission.


    This completes the preparation on the Hubble side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.
     

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "Hubble", then click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Hubble" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following value for the settings item, and click "Save".

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.
