How to Configure SAML Authentication for ClickUp

  • You can link the Identity Provisioning configuration created in this procedure to an existing SAML app.
    For details on SAML app configuration, seehere.

Setup Steps

ClickUp Settings

  1. Log in to ClickUp with administrator privileges, and go to "Settings" from the icon in the upper right.

  2. Click "Security & Permissions."

  3. Make a note of the following information that is displayed (you will use this in the TrustLogin settings).

    • SCIM Base URL
    • SCIM API Token

    This completes the preparation on the ClickUp side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning."

  2. Click "Add Service."

  3. On the Add Service screen, search for and select "ClickUp," then click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > ClickUp" page.
    Click the "Edit" button to open "Access Settings," enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save."

    Connection URL ClickUp Settings The value of the "SCIM Base URL" you copied in step 3
    Access Token ClickUp Settings The value of the "SCIM API Token" you copied in step 3

  5. Click the "Connect" button in the upper right of the screen.

  6. Once the button status updates to "Connected," the initial setup is complete.
