How to Uninstall the Legacy AD Connector

This page explains how to uninstall the legacy AD Connector.

Uninstallation Procedure

Note: If you uninstall the Connector before unlinking the user, you will no longer be able to edit the user on TrustLogin, so be sure to uninstall the Connector only after unlinking the user.
Note: If you are migrating to the new Connector, unlinking the user is not required.
You can continue using TrustLogin by editing the user's information on TrustLogin.
However, you will need to assign one of the login methods, such as password authentication or the external IdP integration option.

Steps

1. Open the Services management tool and stop the "Skuid AD Connector" service.

2. Running uninstall.bat, located in the installation directory, uninstalls the service
from Windows Services.
After that, please delete the entire installation directory, including its files.
Note: This procedure does not write to or update the registry or anything else, so it will
completely uninstall the Connector.
