to perform Identity Provisioning to Netskope.

How to Configure SAML Authentication for Netskope (Admin Page)

  • You can link the Identity Provisioning configuration created in this procedure with an existing SAML app.

Setup Steps

Netskope Settings

  1. Log in to Netskope with administrator privileges.
    From the management console URL, note down the tenant name portion shown below.

  2. Click "Setting".

  3. Go to "Administration > Administration & Roles",
    then click "Service Account" on the "Administrators" tab.

  4. Configure each item with the following information.

    Service Account Name Any name of your choice
    Role Select "Custom SCIM Role"
    REST API Token Any token expiration period of your choice

    Note: The settings shown in the image are just an example. Please check with Netskope for the actual configuration details.

  5. Click the "Create" button.

  6. A token will be created.
    Copy the displayed "API Token" value. (This will be used in the TrustLogin settings)
    Note: The token cannot be displayed again. Please make sure to copy it without omission.

    This completes the preparation on the Netskope side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. Select "Netskope" and click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Netskope" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for the settings items, and click "Save".

    Connection URL Netskope Settings The management console URL you copied in Step 1
    Access Token Netskope Settings The token you copied in Step 5

  6. Click the "Connect" button.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.

Values You Can Configure in Attribute Mapping

The values that can be specified as default functions for Netskope are as follows.

Value Description
Full Name The full name with the last name first.
Full Name with First Name First The full name with the first name first.
Username from Email Address Takes the part of the email address before the @ and limits it to a maximum of 21 characters.
