Setup Steps

HubSpot Settings

  1. Log in to HubSpot with administrator privileges and click the gear icon in the upper right of the screen.

  2. Click "Integrations > Private Apps" on the left side of the screen.

  3. Click "Create a private app" in the upper right.

  4. Enter any values in "Basic Info" (Name: required, Description: optional).

  5. Click the "Scopes" tab at the top of the screen.

  6. Click "Add new scope".

  7. Under "CRM", check the following two items.

    • crm.objects.users.read

    • crm.objects.users.write

  8. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click "Settings".

  9. Under "Settings", check the following four items.

    • settings.users.read

    • settings.users.teams.read

    • settings.users.teams.write

    • settings.users.write

  10. Click the "Update" button.

  11. Click "Create app" in the upper right

  12. Click "Continue creating".

  13. Click "Show token".

  14. The token value is displayed. Copy it.

  15. Click "Close" to close the screen.

  16. The app is created.
    This completes the preparation on the HubSpot side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.


TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. Search for and select "HubSpot", then click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > HubSpot" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following value for the settings item, and click "Save".

  6. Click the "Connect" button.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.

Values You Can Configure in Attribute Mapping

The following values can be specified as default functions on the HubSpot side.

Value Description
Full name Full name with the last name first.
Full name with first name first Full name with the first name first.
Username from email Takes the portion of the email before the @ and limits it to a maximum of 21 characters.
