Identity Provisioning to Confluence.

Setup Steps

Confluence Settings

  1. Log in to Confluence with administrator privileges and click the "Security" tab at the top of the screen.

  2. Click "Connect identity provider" at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Click "Choose" under "Other providers".

  4. Enter any directory name of your choosing and click [Add].

  5. Click "Set up user provisioning".

  6. Click "Next".

  7. Copy the following values shown, and click "Next".

    • SCIM Base URL
    • API Key

  8. Click "Stop SCIM configuration and save".

This completes the preparation on the Confluence side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. Search for "Confluence", select it, and click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Confluence" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for each setting item, and click "Save".

    Connection URL The "SCIM Base URL" copied in step 7 of Confluence Settings
    SCIM API Key The "API Key" copied in step 7 of Confluence Settings

  6. Click the "Connect" button.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.

Values You Can Configure in Attribute Mapping

The values that can be specified as default functions for Confluence are as follows.

Value Description
Full Name This is the full name with the surname first.
Full Name (Given Name First) This is the full name with the given name first.
Username from Email Retrieves the portion of the email address before the "@" and limits it to a maximum of 21 characters.
