This feature allows you to log in to TrustLogin using a password sent to your email address, in addition to your regular ID and password. Two-factor authentication enhances security.
This is a separate subscription from the existing One-Time Password (OTP) feature, and the two can be used together.
When used together with OTP, MOTP authentication occurs after OTP authentication is completed.

Setup Instructions

Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu, and open the "Settings" button to the right of "Email One-Time Password (MOTP)".

Select "Add Member" or "Add Group".
This section explains using "Add Member" as an example. The subsequent steps are the same for "Add Group".

Account Lock Count 4 times 1-10 times Sets the number of consecutive incorrect one-time password entries before the account is locked. Allow Email Resend OFF ON/OFF When ON, a code resend link is displayed on the one-time password code entry screen. When OFF, it is hidden. - Select the users for whom you want to set up an email one-time password, and click the "Register" button.

Email one-time passwords have now been enabled for the registered members.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q.) I cannot receive the email.
A.) If a user is unable to receive the email for any reason, the administrator can generate an authentication code on their behalf from the admin screen.
Note: Both an authentication code generated on the user's behalf and one sent via email are valid as long as they are within the expiration period.
- Click the "Generate" button for the target user.
- Click "Yes".
- A one-time password will be generated. Please notify the user using any method you prefer.
