How to Configure SAML Authentication for Kaonavi

  • The Identity Provisioning configuration created in this procedure can be linked to an existing SAML app.
    For details on the SAML app configuration, seehere.

Setup Steps

Kaonavi Settings

  1. Log in to Kaonavi with administrator privileges and click "Admin Menu".

  2. Click "Public API v2 Information" in the bottom right.

  3. From the left-side menu, click "Authentication Information".

  4. Copy the following authentication information that is displayed. (You will use this in the TrustLogin settings.)

    • Consumer Key
    • Consumer Secret

This completes the preparation on the Kaonavi side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page here, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. Search for "kaonavi", select it, and click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > kaonavi" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following values for each setting item, and click "Save".

    Consumer Key The "Consumer Key" you copied in step 4 of Kaonavi Settings
    Consumer Secret The "Consumer Secret" you copied in step 4 of Kaonavi Settings

  6. Click the "Connect" button.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.

Values You Can Configure in Attribute Mapping

The values that can be specified as Kaonavi's default functions are as follows.

Value Description
Full Name This is the full name with the surname first.
Full Name (Given Name First) This is the full name with the given name first.
Username from Email Retrieves the portion of the email address before the "@" and limits it to a maximum of 21 characters.
