How to Configure SAML Authentication for Jobcan

  • You can link the Identity Provisioning configuration created in this procedure with an existing SAML app.

Setup Steps

Jobcan Settings

  1. Log in to Jobcan with administrator privileges and click "Expenses/WF" at the top of the screen.

  2. Hover over your username and click "Company Information Settings".

  3. Click the "Common ID Integration / API Management" tab.

  4. On the authentication code screen, click "Issue". (If a code has already been issued, click the "Reissue" button instead.)

  5. An authentication code (token) will be issued; please copy the value.

    This completes the preparation on the Jobcan side. Next, configure the settings on the TrustLogin side.

TrustLogin Settings

  1. Log in to the TrustLogin Admin Page, and from the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu,
    open "Settings" next to "Identity Provisioning".

  2. Click "Add Service".

  3. Search for "Jobcan", select it, and click the "Add" button.

  4. You will be redirected to the "Identity Provisioning > Jobcan" page.
    Click the "Edit" button.

  5. Open "Access Settings", enter the following value for the settings item, and click "Save".

  6. Click the "Connect" button.

  7. Once the button status updates to "Connected", the initial setup is complete.

Values You Can Configure in Attribute Mapping

The following values can be specified as default functions for Jobcan.

Value Description
Full Name The full name with the last name first.
Full Name with First Name First The full name with the first name first.
Username from Email Address Takes the part of the email address before the @, and limits it to a maximum of 21 characters.

Generate a Unique User Code
from the Primary Email Address

Generates a user code from the local part of the primary email address.
Any characters other than alphanumeric characters, hyphens, and underscores are replaced with underscores.
