What Is Scheduled Processing for Onboarding and Offboarding?

This feature allows you to automatically create or delete accounts at a specified time by setting a member's joining and leaving dates in advance.

How the Processing Timing Is Calculated

You can specify the timing for account creation and deletion based on the joining/leaving date plus a configured adjustment (±180 days).

• The execution date and time are calculated as "joining date + creation adjustment days" or "leaving date + deletion adjustment days."
• If the calculated date/time is in the past relative to the current time, processing runs immediately; if it is in the future, it is scheduled to run later (scheduled processing).

• If the joining or leaving date is not set, processing is executed immediately at the time the member is assigned to or removed from the identity provisioning configuration.
  

Setup Instructions

1. Set the joining and leaving dates for each member.
   From the Admin Page, select "Members," then select the target member.
   
   
2. Click "Registration Information > Edit" and set the joining date and/or leaving date.
   Set the joining date if you want to create the user, and the leaving date if you want to delete the user. You only need to set one of the two if desired.
   
   
3. Click "Save" to save the settings.
   
   
   
4. From "Settings > Optional Features > Identity Provisioning," select the identity provisioning configuration for which you want to configure scheduled processing.
   
   
   
5. Click the "Edit" button next to the icon to open the edit screen.
   Under "Sync Settings," specify the number of days for "Account Creation Adjustment" and "Account Deletion Adjustment."
   
   Note: With the settings above, the following processing will occur:
   - The account will be created the day before the joining date (creation adjustment: -1 day)
   - The account will be deleted one month after the leaving date (deletion adjustment: 30 days)
   

6. Click "Save" to save the settings.
   
   
   
   Users waiting for scheduled processing can be checked on the "Member Sync Status" tab of the identity provisioning configuration screen.
