How to Configure SAML Authentication for DirectCloud

Note: Advance configuration in DirectCloud is required.

Note: The login ID for users in DirectCloud must be set to the same email address as in TrustLogin.

Note: For the latest configuration procedures, please refer to the manual provided by DirectCloud.

Configuring the TrustLogin Admin Page

  1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, and click the "Register App" button in the upper right of the screen.

  2. Search on the "Register Corporate App" screen and select "DirectCloud (SAML)".

  3. Download the metadata from "Download Metadata" under "Identity Provider Information".

  4. Enter DirectCloud's "Company ID" in all of the blank fields under "Service Provider Settings".

  5. Click the "Register" button to save.

Configuring DirectCloud

  1. Log in to the admin page and open "User > SSO Integration > SAML".

  2. Configure each item as follows, then click the "Save" button at the end to save the settings.
    SAML 2.0 Integration Select the checkbox for "Enable"
    IdP Select "TrustLogin"
    SAML Certificate Upload the "Metadata" obtained from TrustLogin
    Login Account Select "Use both IdP and DirectCloud accounts"

Configuring TrustLogin Users

① When a user adds the app from My Page

  1. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page".
  2. On the "Register App" screen, select "DirectCloud (SAML)" and click the "Next" button in the upper right of the screen.
  3. If you want to change the "Display Name", enter it, then click the "Register" button.

② When an administrator adds a member

  1. In the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, search for the "DirectCloud (SAML)" app and click it.
  2. Click "Add Member", select the user you want to add from the member list, then click the "Register" button to add them.

How to Log in to DirectCloud

① Logging in from the DirectCloud login page

  1. Open the login page and click "Log in with SSO" at the bottom.

  2. Enter your "Company ID" and click "OK".

  3. You will be redirected to the TrustLogin login screen, where you should complete authentication. If you are already logged in to TrustLogin, you will be taken directly to your DirectCloud My Page.

② Logging in from the TrustLogin My Page or browser extension

When accessing DirectCloud via SAML authentication from the TrustLogin My Page or browser extension, the "DirectCloud (SAML)" app cannot be used. (The following SAML error screen will be displayed.)

For this reason, by separately registering the "[For SAML Assistance] DirectCloud" app, you will be able to log in from the TrustLogin My Page and browser extension.
