Notifications

Notification by System Email

An email notification is sent 90, 60, 30, 7, and 1 day(s) before the certificate's expiration date.
(Emails are sent on the 89th, 59th, 29th, and 6th day before expiration, and on the expiration day itself)

  • If "Allow certificate download" is turned ON on the Client Authentication settings screen
    → A notification email is sent to the member themselves
  • If "Allow certificate download" is turned OFF on the Client Authentication settings screen
    → A notification email is sent to all administrators who have the "Change Settings" permission

Notification by Banner

Once 90 days before the certificate's expiration date have passed, a banner is displayed on the TrustLogin screen. The banner disappears once the certificate has been renewed.

  • If "Allow certificate download" is turned ON on the Client Authentication settings screen
    → Displayed on the member's own screen

  • If "Allow certificate download" is turned OFF on the Client Authentication settings screen
    → Displayed on the screens of all administrators who have the "Change Settings" permission

Issuing a Renewal Certificate

After the first certificate renewal notification (90 days before expiration), you can issue a new certificate to the target user. The procedure for obtaining it is the same as for a regular certificate issuance.
Client Authentication (When Issuing a Certificate with TrustLogin)

  • If "Allow certificate download" is turned ON on the Client Authentication settings screen
    → Obtained by the member themselves, or by an administrator with the "Change Settings" permission
  • If "Allow certificate download" is turned OFF on the Client Authentication settings screen
    → Obtained by an administrator with the "Change Settings" permission
