Configuring Member Usage Settings Using "Administrator Settings"

TrustLogin's administrator settings allow you to
finely control how apps are registered and shared, the scope of member operations, notification email recipients, and more.

This page explains each item that can be checked and configured from the administrator settings.

How to Navigate to the Settings Screen

Log in to TrustLogin, and from the Admin Page go to "Settings > Administrator Settings."

Custom App Registration

These are settings related to registering "custom apps" that do not appear in the app list.

Allow administrators to register custom apps as company apps.

Controls whether administrators can register custom apps via the browser extension.
Added app settings can be used by everyone under the registered company ID.

Setting Behavior
ON Administrators can register custom apps via the browser extension
OFF Administrator registration of custom apps is restricted

Note: For the registration and use of custom apps that have not been verified by TrustLogin,
customers are responsible for confirming and guaranteeing their operation.

Allow administrators/members to register custom apps on My Page.

Controls whether members (general users) can register custom apps via the browser extension.
Added apps can only be used by the member who registered them.

Setting Behavior
ON Members themselves can register custom apps via the browser extension
OFF

Member registration of custom apps is restricted

Note: If you want members to use custom apps, the administrator must
assign the app to each member.

App Sharing

These are settings for sharing app login information (ID and password) among multiple members.

Allow app sharing by administrators.

Controls whether administrators can share pre-configured login information (ID and password) with members.

Setting Behavior
ON

Administrators can share the ID and password they have set with members

Note: When multiple people use a common ID and password, individual settings for each person are not required.

OFF Administrator app sharing is restricted

Allow app sharing by general members.

Controls whether members can share the login information of apps they registered themselves with other members.

Setting Behavior
ON Members can share login information with multiple members without administrator approval
OFF App sharing between members is restricted

Member Controls

Configures the scope of operations members can perform on My Page.

Allow members to operate apps on My Page.

For each authentication type ("Password App/BASIC Authentication App" or "SAML Authentication App"),
you can control app operations on My Page by "Register / Edit / Delete."

Note: For details on each of the "Register / Delete / Edit" operations, please check here.

Display all apps as registration candidates on My Page.

Setting Behavior
ON All password authentication apps published on TrustLogin can be registered from My Page
OFF Only apps registered as company apps on the Admin Page can be registered

Note: Some password authentication apps and BASIC authentication templates require a login URL to be configured,
so they cannot be used unless registered as a company app.

Display app registration guidance on first login.

Setting Behavior
ON When an administrator or member logs in for the first time,
guidance/tutorial on how to register and use apps is displayed
OFF The guidance/tutorial is not displayed

Allow members to edit their profile

Configures whether members can edit their own profile information on My Page.

  • If you are using "Automatically Add Members to Groups (by Condition),"
    please set this feature to OFF (do not allow).
    Note: This is to prevent unintended automatic assignment to groups by the administrator.
  • If you are using Active Directory Integration or LDAP Manager Integration,
    this cannot be turned on because information is automatically synced from the directory.

Members can edit their own profile information on My Page

OFF Profile editing by members is restricted

If you want to allow members to edit only specific fields, configure this using the steps below.
Example: Allowing editing of only the sub email address

  1. Click "Edit."

  2. Turn on "Allow members to edit their profile,"
    and in "Individual Profile Field Settings," check only the fields you want to allow.

  3. Click "Save" at the top of the settings screen.

Email Sending

These are settings related to the recipients of system emails and notifications to administrators.

Selecting System Email Recipients

You can select the recipient of system emails from the following.
Note: This is available only on the Pro plan.

  • Main email address
  • Sub email address
  • Both the main and sub email addresses

Also send unlock emails to the administrator

You can configure whether the following emails are also sent to the administrator via BCC.

  • "Notice of How to Unlock Your Account"
  • "Notice of Account Unlock"
Setting Behavior
ON The above emails are also sent to the administrator via BCC
OFF BCC is not sent to the administrator
