Administrators can reset a member's password.
This allows you to immediately reset a password in situations such as when a member is unable to reset their own password, or when there is a possibility of unauthorized login by a third party other than the member.
This can also be used when a member has forgotten their secret question.
① Send a Password Reset Email (Secret Question Answer Required)
- On the Admin Page, click "Members > (specific member)," then click "Password Reset" on the right side of the screen.
- Select "Send Password Reset Email" and click "Reset Password," and a reset email will be sent to the member.
- An email with the subject "[TrustLogin] Password Reset
Notification" will be sent to the target member. Please reset the password using the password reset URL in the email.
Note: An answer to the secret question is required.
② Generate a Password Reset Code (No Secret Question Answer Required)
This feature is for users who use a mail client such as G Suite or Office 365 and cannot view their email unless they log in via TrustLogin.
Note: This method is only available to administrators with full permissions (administrators who can change administrator privileges).
- On the Admin Page, click "Members > (specific member)," then click "Password Reset" on the right side of the screen.
- Select "Generate Password Reset Code," note down the reset code, and click "Reset Password." The reset code is generated automatically, but you can also set a custom code.
Please inform the target member of the reset code you noted down.
- After entering their Company ID/email address on the login screen, the target member enters the password reset code via the "Password Reset" button on the password entry screen, and sets a new password.
