This allows users to log in only from browsers they have registered. You can also limit the number of available devices.
Note: A Pro plan subscription is required to use this feature.
Note: This feature is available in the "TrustLogin" mobile app but not in "TrustLogin Classic."
How to Configure
-
Log in to the Admin Page, open the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu, and click the "Settings" button to the right of "Cookie Authentication."
- Add the members/groups that will use Cookie authentication.
- Click the "Edit" button to the right of "Cookie Authentication."
The "Devices can only be deleted from the admin screen" setting lets you choose whether general users can delete their own Cookie authentication devices themselves.
When it is off (gray), general users are allowed to delete devices themselves from My Page.
When it is on (green), devices can only be deleted from the admin screen.
Set the "Standard Device Limit" and click "Save."
Alternatively, you can set the device limit individually on the detail page of a member added to "Cookie Authentication."
-
On first login, configured members set an arbitrary name for their device (browser), completing the registration.
- When a general user wants to delete their own Cookie authentication device, they can do so from the "Profile" > "Devices" tab in the My Page header menu.
