How to Configure One-Time Password (OTP) Authentication

This feature allows you to log in to TrustLogin using a one-time password generated on your mobile device, in addition to your regular ID and password. Two-factor authentication enhances security.

Setup Instructions

Administrator Assigns Members

  1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > Settings > Optional Features" menu, and click the "Configure" button to the right of "One-Time Password."

  2. Select "Add Member" or "Add Group."
    This example explains the process using "Add Member." The steps are the same when using "Add Group."

  3. Select the user(s) for whom you want to set up the one-time password, and click the "Register" button.

  4. One-Time Password is now enabled for the registered member.

Member Sets Up One-Time Password

  1. After the administrator completes the setup, when a member logs in to TrustLogin, the following screen will appear after entering their ID and password. Follow the instructions to install "Google Authenticator" on your mobile device.

  2. Once the installation is complete, launch the app and the following screen will appear. Scan the QR code by selecting "Begin Setup" → "Scan a barcode."

  3. Once the code is scanned, a 6-digit confirmation code will be displayed. Enter the code and click the "Authenticate" button to complete the login.
    Note: If you enter the code and still get an error, please check that the time zone and time settings are correct on both your PC and your mobile device.
    Note: If you log in, log out, and log in again within a short period of time, the warning "You cannot log in consecutively while using One-Time Password. Please wait about one minute before logging in." will be displayed. Please wait a while before logging in again.

  4. For subsequent logins, you will need to enter the one-time password after entering your ID and password, so please log in using Google Authenticator.
