Prerequisites
When a user is created via SAML JIT, the "display name" is synced to HUE Project Board. You need to configure a custom attribute in TrustLogin member information to link the "display name" for HUE Project Board.

Note: The attribute name can be anything you choose.

TrustLogin Admin Page Settings

1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > App" menu, and click the "Register App" button in the upper right of the screen.
   
   
   
2. Search on the "Register Company App" screen and select "HUE Project Board (SAML)".
   
   
   
3. Download the metadata from the "Download Metadata" button under "Identity Provider Information".

Now, switch to configuring HUE Project Board.
Do not click the "Register" button yet — open HUE Project Board in a separate window.

HUE Project Board Settings

1. Log in to HUE Project Board with an account that has administrator privileges, and select "Workspace Settings".
   
   
   
2. In "Single Sign-On > Authentication Method", select "Custom SAML 2.0" and click "Add".
   
   
   
3. Enter any name you like for "Display Name" and click the "Add" button.
   Note: The name you set here will be displayed on the HUE Project Board login screen.
   
   
   
4. In "SAML Settings", click the "Upload IdP Metadata" button and upload the metadata you noted from TrustLogin.
   
   
   
5. After uploading the metadata, the IdP information will be automatically filled in for each setting. Once auto-filled, click "Save Changes".
   
   
   
6. In "SAML IdP Settings", click "Download SP Metadata" to download the HUE Project Board metadata.
   
   
   
7. Configure "Single Sign-On Advanced Settings" as follows, and save the settings by clicking "Save Changes".

   Account Sync Mode	Configure as needed Sync only at first login User information is synced only once, at the first login. It will not be updated on subsequent logins. Sync every login User information is updated every time the user logs in.

   
   

Now return to the TrustLogin admin page again.

TrustLogin Admin Page Settings (Continued)

1. Configure "Service Provider Settings" as follows.
   

   Metadata	Upload the metadata you noted from HUE Project Board
   SAML Attribute Settings	Select the attribute name you configured as the custom attribute

   
   
   
   
2. Save by clicking the "Register" button.
3. Add the user who will perform the connection test to the "HUE Project Board (SAML)" app.

1. Return to the "Single Sign-On > Authentication Method" screen and click the "Connection Test" button. Note down the displayed URL using the Copy button, and verify that the connection succeeds using your browser's incognito/private mode.
   
   
   
2. After the connection test succeeds, turn on the SAML enable toggle and click the "Enable" button.
   
   
   
3. Turning on "Only allow login via single sign-on" means members will only be able to log in via SSO. Please note that password login will no longer be available. This setting is optional.
   
   
   

TrustLogin User Settings

① When a user adds the app from My Page

1. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page".
2. On the "Register App" screen, select "HUE Project Board (SAML)" and click the "Next" button in the upper right of the screen.
3. If you want to change the "Display Name", enter it and click the "Register" button.

②When an administrator adds members

1. Search for and click the "HUE Project Board (SAML)" app in the "Admin Page > App" menu.
2. Click "Add Member", select the user to add from the member list, and click the "Register" button to add them.
