How to Configure SAML Authentication for Boomi

TrustLogin Admin Page Settings

  1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > App" menu, and click the "Register App" button in the upper right of the screen.

  2. Search on the "Register Company App" screen and select "Boomi (SAML)".

  3. Note the value of "Identity Provider URL" under "Identity Provider Information," and download the certificate using the "Get Certificate" button.

  4. Change the extension of the downloaded certificate (txt file) to "cer" to convert it to CER file format.

  5. Enter your Boomi "Account ID" into the "Entity ID" and "ACS URL for the Service" fields under "Service Provider Settings".

    You can check the "Account ID" under "Settings > Account Information" in Boomi.

  6. Click the "Register" button to save.

Boomi Settings

  1. Log in to Boomi, open "Settings > SSO Options", and check "Enabled" for "Enable SAML Single Sign-On".

  2. Configure each item as follows, then click the "Save" button to save.
    Identity Provider Certificate Upload the "Certificate" obtained from TrustLogin (converted to CER file format) using the "Import" button
    Identity Provider Sign In URL The "Identity Provider URL" obtained from TrustLogin
    Sign Out Redirect URL https://portal.trustlogin.com/
    Federation ID Location Select "Federation ID is in FEDERATION_ID Attribute element"

  3. Open "User Management" and open the user information edit screen.
    Enter the TrustLogin email address in "Federation ID" and click the "OK" button to save.

TrustLogin User Settings

① When a User Adds the App from My Page

  1. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page."
  2. On the "Register App" screen, select "Boomi (SAML)" and click the "Next" button in the upper right of the screen.
  3. If you want to change the "Display Name," enter it and click the "Register" button.

② When an Administrator Adds Members

  1. Search for and click the "Boomi (SAML)" app in the "Admin Page > App" menu.
  2. Click "Add Member," select the user to add from the member list, and click the "Register" button to add them.
