How to Configure SAML Authentication for eden LMS

  • eden LMS requires prior configuration.

  • eden LMS requires that you create an account using the same email address as your TrustLogin account.

TrustLogin Admin Page Configuration

  1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, and click the "Register App" button in the upper right of the screen.

  2. Search on the "Register Corporate App" screen and select "eden LMS (SAML)".

  3. Note down the value of the "Identity Provider URL" under "Identity Provider Information", and download the certificate using the "Get Certificate" button.

At this point, switch to configuring the eden LMS side.
Do not click the "Register" button yet — open eden LMS in a separate window.

eden LMS Configuration

  1. Open "Account Management" and click "System Settings".

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and configure the login method settings as shown below.
    Finally, click the "Save" button to save.
    Allowed Login Method Select "Both" (Recommended) Note:
    Linked System Select "SAML"
    SAML Response Destination URL Copy this value and keep a record of it
    SAML Login URL The "Identity Provider URL" obtained from TrustLogin
    Certificate for SAML Signature Verification

    The "Certificate" obtained from TrustLogin
    Once uploaded, it will automatically be inserted into the field

    Note: To select "Both" and log in with your eden LMS login ID/password,
     
    access a URL with "?auto_redirect=false" appended to the end of the login URL, such as https://eden.ac/login/xxxx?auto_redirect=false .
    Note: Depending on your operational needs, you can also select "External System Integration Only", but we recommend switching to it only after confirming the SAML connection succeeds and notifying your users.

Return to the TrustLogin Admin Page again.

TrustLogin Admin Page Configuration (Continued)

  1. Enter the "SAML Response Destination URL" obtained from eden LMS into the two blank fields under "Service Provider Settings".

  2. Click the "Register" button to save.

TrustLogin User Configuration

① When a User Adds the App from My Page

  1. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page".
  2. On the "Register App" screen, select "eden LMS (SAML)" and click the "Next" button in the upper right of the screen.
  3. If you want to change the "Display Name", enter a new one, then click the "Register" button.

② When an Administrator Adds Members

  1. In the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, search for and click the "eden LMS (SAML)" app.
  2. Click "Add Member", select the users to add from the member list, and click the "Register" button to add them.
