How to Configure SAML Authentication for Remotty

Prior Confirmation

  • Prior configuration on the Remotty side is required.

  • You must create an account on Remotty using the same email address as your TrustLogin account.

  • For the latest configuration steps, please refer to the manual provided by Remotty.

  • The recommended browsers are Chrome/Edge; operation on Safari is not guaranteed.
  • Please note that the Remotty desktop app does not support SAML, so it cannot be used once SAML is enabled.

TrustLogin Admin Page Configuration

  1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, and click the "Register App" button in the upper right of the screen.

  2. Search on the "Register Corporate App" screen and select "Remotty (SAML)".

  3. Download the metadata using the "Download Metadata" button in "Identity Provider Information".

  4. Click the "Register" button to save.

  5. Send the downloaded "metadata" and your desired "company code" to your Remotty representative and request the SAML configuration.
    Once Remotty notifies you that the SAML configuration is complete, you will be able to log in via SAML.

TrustLogin User Configuration

① When Users Add the App from My Page

  1. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page".
  2. On the "Register App" screen, select "Remotty (SAML)" and click the "Next" button in the upper right of the screen.
  3. If you want to change the "Display Name", enter it, then click the "Register" button.

② When the Administrator Adds Members

  1. In the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, search for the "Remotty (SAML)" app and click it.
  2. Click "Add Member", select the users to add from the member list, and click the "Register" button to add them.

Login Method

① Logging in with "Remotty (SAML)"

When you launch "Remotty (SAML)" from My Page or the browser extension, you will be redirected to the Remotty login screen. Click "Click here if you would like to log in using SAML authentication", enter your "company code", and then click the "Log in with SAML authentication" button to complete the login.

② Using the Auxiliary App

You can skip clicking "Click here if you would like to log in using SAML authentication" and entering the "company code" described in the login steps in ① by using the auxiliary app "[SAML Auxiliary] Remotty", which we also provide.
Please add the app yourself, either as an administrator or as a user, following the same steps as a normal app registration.

Note: The auxiliary app can only be used with PC browsers and the Android standard browser (Chrome).
Note: An error may occur due to your browser's pop-up blocking feature.
 Please check your browser settings to confirm that pop-ups from Remotty are allowed.Remotty02.png
