How to Configure SAML Authentication for Evernote Teams

Prerequisites

  • Prior configuration in Evernote Teams is required.

  • You must create an account in Evernote Teams using the same email address as your TrustLogin account.

TrustLogin Admin Page Configuration

  1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, and click the "Register App" button in the upper right of the screen.

  2. Search on the "Register Corporate App" screen and select "Evernote Teams (SAML)".

  3. Note the value of "Identity Provider URL" under "Identity Provider Information", and download the certificate from the "Get Certificate" button.

  4. Save by clicking the "Register" button.

  5. Add the administrator who is conducting the test as a member of the SAML app you created.
    For instructions on how to add a member, see TrustLogin User Configuration below.

Evernote Teams Configuration

  1. Open the admin console from the icon in the upper left and open "Single Sign-On (SSO) ".
    Configure each item as follows and click the "Save & Activate" button.
    SAML HTTP Request URL The "Identity Provider URL" obtained from TrustLogin
    X.509 Certificate Paste the contents of the "Certificate" obtained from TrustLogin
    Session Duration Configure according to your operational needs

  2. A message will appear confirming that the connection has been verified and SSO has been enabled.

TrustLogin User Configuration

① When a User Adds the App from My Page

  1. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page".
  2. Select "Evernote Teams (SAML)" on the "Register App" screen, and click the "Next" button in the upper right of the screen.
  3. If you want to change the "Display Name", enter it, then click the "Register" button.

② When an Administrator Adds a Member

  1. Search for and click the "Evernote Teams (SAML)" app in the "Admin Page > Apps" menu.
  2. Click "Add Member", select the user to add from the member list, and click the "Register" button to add them.
