How to Configure SAML Authentication for Talknote

TrustLogin Admin Page Configuration

  1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, and click the "Register App" button in the upper right of the screen.

  2. Search on the "Register Corporate App" screen and select "Talknote (SAML)".

  3. Download the metadata from "Download Metadata" under Identity Provider Information, then save the app settings by clicking the "Register" button. Send the metadata to your Talknote representative and request that they configure SAML.

TrustLogin User Configuration

① When a user adds the app from My Page

  1. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page".
  2. On the "Register App" screen, select "Talknote (SAML)" and click the "Next" button in the upper right of the screen.
  3. If you want to change the "Display Name," enter a new one, then click the "Register" button.

② When an administrator adds members

  1. In the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, search for and click the "Talknote (SAML)" app.
  2. Click "Add Member," select the users to add from the member list, and click the "Register" button to add them.

How to Log in to Talknote

To access Talknote via SAML authentication from the TrustLogin My Page or browser extension, you must separately register the "[SAML Helper] Talknote" app, which enables SAML login to Talknote.
Note: SAML login is not possible with the "Talknote (SAML)" app alone.

  1. Search on the "Register Corporate App" screen and select "[SAML Helper] Talknote". Talknote06.png

  2. In the login URL, enter your Talknote network code in the "Your Network Code" section, then click "Register".
    Note: Your Talknote network code is shown in the URL while you are logged in on the web.

  3. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page" and select "[SAML Helper] Talknote".

  4. If you want to change the "Display Name," enter a new one, then click the "Save" button.Talknote08.png

  5. Click the app from "My Page" or the "browser extension" and confirm that login succeeds.

Native App SSO Authentication Method

  1. Download the Talknote native app.

  2. Open the Talknote app and click "Login".

  3. Click "Use Single Sign-On".

  5. You will be redirected to the TrustLogin login screen. Log in to TrustLogin and use the app. (Note: If you are already logged in to TrustLogin, you will not be redirected to the login screen.)
