How to Configure SAML Authentication for NotePM

Prerequisites

  • NotePM requires advance configuration.

  • You must create an account in NotePM using the same email address as your TrustLogin account.

TrustLogin Admin Page Configuration

  1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, and click the "Register App" button at the top right of the screen.

  2. Search on the "Register Corporate App" screen and select "NotePM (SAML)".

  3. Under "Identity Provider Information", download the metadata using the "Download Metadata" button.

Now switch to the NotePM configuration. Please open NotePM in a separate window.

NotePM Configuration

  1. Log in with an account that has owner privileges, click the registered user name at the top right, and select "Other > SSO Settings".

  2. Under "Service Provider (SP) Information", click the "Download" button to download the metadata.

  3. Under "Identity Provider (IdP) Information", use "Choose File" to upload the metadata you downloaded from TrustLogin.

  4. At the top of the settings screen, under "Enable SSO", click "Enable" to turn on SSO.

  5. From the menu on the left, select "Team User Management", then select the user for whom you want to enable SSO. Select "Edit > SSO Settings".

  6. Check "Enable" under "SSO Enabled", enter the email address registered in TrustLogin into "Linked IdP Account", and click "Update".

    TrustLogin Admin Page Configuration (Continued)

    1. Under "Service Provider Settings", use "Choose Metadata" to upload the metadata you obtained from NotePM.

    2. Save the settings using the "Register" button.


      TrustLogin User Configuration

      ① When a user adds the app from My Page

      1. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page".
      2. Select "NotePM (SAML)" on the "Register App" screen, and click the "Next" button at the top right of the screen.
      3. If you want to change the "Display Name", enter it, then click the "Register" button.

      ② When an administrator adds members

      1. In the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, search for and click the "NotePM (SAML)" app.
      2. Click "Add Member", select the users to add from the member list, and click the "Register" button to add them.
