How to Configure SAML Authentication for Assetment Neo

Prerequisites

  • Advance configuration is required in Assetment Neo.

  • The login ID in the Assetment Neo employee information must match the email address in TrustLogin.

Supports provisioning via API (accounts can be managed in TrustLogin)

Supports SAML JIT provisioning (accounts can be managed in TrustLogin; user deletion is not supported)

TrustLogin Admin Page Configuration

  1. Log in to TrustLogin, open the "Admin Page > Apps" menu, and click the "Register App" button in the upper right of the screen.

  2. Search on the "Register Company App" screen and select "Assetment Neo (SAML)".

  3. Note down the "IdP URL" under the identity provider information, and download the certificate using the "Certificate" button.

  4. Enter the Assetment Neo "Login URL" into the "Entity ID" and "ACS URL for the Service" fields under the service provider settings.

  5. Click the "Register" button to save.

Assetment Neo Configuration

  1. Log in with an administrator account and open "System Settings > Initial Settings > General Settings".

  2. Configure each item under "Login Authentication Settings" and "SAML Authentication Settings" as follows.
    Authentication Method Select "SAML Authentication"
    Metadata URL The Assetment Neo "Login URL"
    SSO Endpoint URL The "IdP URL" you noted down from TrustLogin
    SLO Endpoint URL https://portal.trustlogin.com/
    AssertionConsumerServiceURL The Assetment Neo "Login URL"
    IdP-issued Certificate (Public Key) Paste in the entire contents of the "Certificate" obtained from TrustLogin
    Add RequestedAuthnContext Select "Add"
    Smartphone App

    Turn the checkbox off if you also want to use SAML authentication on the smartphone app.
    If the checkbox is checked, the smartphone app will use standard authentication.

  3. Click the "Save" button to save.

TrustLogin User Configuration

① Adding the app from My Page (user)

  1. Click the "Add App" button on "My Page".
  2. Select "Assetment Neo (SAML)" on the "Register App" screen, then click the "Next" button in the upper right of the screen.
  3. Enter a value if you want to change the "Display Name", then click the "Register" button.

② Adding members (administrator)

  1. Search for and click the "Assetment Neo (SAML)" app in the "Admin Page > Apps" menu.
  2. Click "Add Member", select the users to add from the member list, then click the "Register" button to add them.
